ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We believe technology works best when it's reliable, well supported, and nearly invisible to the people using it. The Junior IT Support Specialist makes that possible by providing frontline technical support, deploying and managing devices, maintaining classroom AV, and helping the community use school technology with confidence.
This is a hands-on, service-oriented role grounded in troubleshooting, follow-through, and clear communication. The ideal candidate brings solid technical fundamentals, strong problem-solving instincts, patience with users at every level of technical comfort, and a real interest in growing their skills in enterprise IT. This position also supports faculty, staff, and students as they adopt school-approved AI tools and other emerging technologies. Experience supporting users in a school, higher-ed, or similarly fast-paced environment is a strong differentiator.
Harvard-Westlake is one of the nation's leading independent schools — and what makes us exceptional isn't just the students or the resources; it's the people. You'll join a community of smart, mission-driven colleagues who are genuinely invested in each other's growth and in building something meaningful together.
